The Curator's Dream :

   It is an outdoor spectacle – a special festival of art and theatre collage. Spectators invited by a curator to his Museum of Imagination become the witnesses of the creation act. The curator's attitude to the works of art he is taking care of, makes him a special person – a creator, an event initiator, an artist. Due to his actions many well-known and unknown paintings are brought to life in front of the audience to tell again their amazing stories.
   Successively looming spatial pictures evolve, take by surprise, move and sometimes make laugh. They transfer the audience to the past and the future,
to the garden of paradise or Paris cafes, to the battlefield and the circus arena. Everything is possible in the odd artist's imagination. Thus, here the realities are mixing, permeating in such a way to create a new, exeptional work of art.

   The Theatre AKT, which has been influenced by the poetry of street theatre, circus, mime art and dance for years, uses all the values of these arts to form
a multidimensional, full of expression artistic performance.

The performance was specially prepared for the opening of the event of Warsaw Night of Museums in 2008 in cooperation with the Promotion Bureau of Warsaw.
